The conference "Climate - Water - Biodiversity - Land Use: Young Scientists Tackling Complex Environmental Challenges" was held in Brussels 4-6 November 2009. Lecturers at the conference included among others Patrick Cunningham, Chief Scientific Adviser to the Irish Government, Dublin (Ireland) and Pat Nuttal, PEER Chair and Director of the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, Wallingford (UK).
