METIER Final Conference Structure

Day 1 - Wednesday, 4 November

• Opening and introduction
• Lectures on methods of interdisciplinary environmental research (remote sensing, information management, geo-visualization, ecological modelling, scenario analysis)
• The Marie Curie Programme
• Career opportunities in interdisciplinary environmental research (examples of PEER member institutes)
• Presentations on how the METIER participants applied the knowledge gained in the training courses in practice
