The first seminar in this series will focus on introducing ML/AI in the context of Environmental Sciences, providing a broad overview of the various problems and approaches that are common in this field. Following this, researchers from different institutions will present their ML/AI research on remote sensing applications. The second seminar will introduce a wider spectrum of research in environmental sciences, such as the analysis of texts related to environmental politics using Natural Language Processing (NLP), and the use of ML models for predicting pollution.
